Unexpectedly, my daughter and I had a children’s day in the autumn. It all started in the morning on the way to kindergarten, when we found tons of chestnuts. With huge smiles, we stuffed our pockets and moved on. In the afternoon it turned out that this is not the end of our autumn adventure. On our way back, we also caught hazelnuts and walnuts, acorns, pine cones, plane tree balls and rowan-like orange fruits. We couldn’t leave it like that and we decided to start work right away. This is how our autumn wreath was created 🍂🍁🌰
Autumn treasures and other supplies needed
- You need everything that is associated with autumn and that you can collect. We have: chestnuts, acorns, walnuts and hazelnuts, cones, orange fruit of trees that I do not know, plane tree balls, juniper branches. It is a good idea to have many smaller treasures to cover the holes.
- Base for a wreath – I used polystyrene, but it’s not the best move, because you can see the white base inexorably. Better to use something brown 🙂
- Hot glue
How to make autumn wreath?
The idea is simple: stick everything you have as densely as you can. Start by arranging large elements and fill in the free spaces with smaller ones. Hot glue is best suited for sticking. If you create a wreath with kids, be very careful especially with the gun, because the metal tip is very hot.
The wreath is ready, you can put it on the table or hang it on the door.
