Crochet fox rattle is a great gift idea for a newborn or infant. Easy to do and extremely sweet. My nephew has already been gifted 🙂 Unfortunately, the crochet pattern is not free, but I couldn’t find anything more what is so breathtaking. Originally the fox is a toy with body, arms and legs but I used only head 😉
What is needed to do crochet fox rattle?
- Crochet pattern found here
- Yarn, I used Yarn Art Jeans in colors: orange, black, white and green
- Hook, I used 3 mm
- Safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Yarn needle
- Wooden ring with outer diameter 60 mm
- Rattle
How to do crochet fox rattle?
Due to the fact the pattern is not free, I cannot paste it here. Flounce and crochet strap to sew to wooden ring were design by myself. You can find the pattern below, hope it will be helpful 🙂
Flounce – crochet pattern
Dict: inc – increase, sc – single crochet, ch – chain, st – stitch
1: 10 ch [9]
2: Starting from the second stitch crochet 2 sc in each st [18]
3: (sc, inc)*9 [27]
4: (2 sc, inc)*9 [36]
5: 4 dc in each stitch
I crochet strap starting from 25 stitches of chain. Then 6 rounds of single crochets. Finally I sew it to the wooden ring using yarn needle.
At the end I sew everything and crochet fox rattle was ready 🙂 Do you like it?
