How to make potato stamps and Christmas wrapping paper

Potato stamps are super cool and easy to make with metal cookie cutters. Although this is mainly creative activity for kids, adults can also get lots of fun. Using potato stamps we made Christmas wrapping paper, but you can also make Christmas cards, gift tags or winter pictures. A little patience will also come in handy as the combination of paints and kids can be explosive 😉

  3. Cut the potato half a centimetre high
  4. Cut anything outside the cookie cutter

Now let’s make some stamps 🙂

Once we have stamps, it’s time for some creative fun. Dip it in paint or cover in paint using a brush and the stamp 🙂

Try not to move the stamp as the shape will blur. It is mainly caused by excess paint, so it is worth making 2-3 prints in one run.
