There was a lot of plexiglass left over from the last dried flower frames and it was a pity to throw it away. Therefore, on the basis of the previous idea with vases, we went for faux stained glass on plexiglass. The concept is similar, flowers in a vase again, but this time the flowers are painted on plexiglass with gel glass paints.

How to make a faux stained glass – flowers in a felt vase
The first step is to prepare the vase. Download, print and cut out our template, then trace it on felt and cut it out. Attach wooden beads to the ends of the string and secure with a knot to prevent slipping. Tie the vase with the prepared string and finish it with a bow.
The next step is to paint flowers on plexiglass with gel paints for glass. Before you start painting, you need to put the vase in order to know where to start painting the stems of the flowers. Then, let the paintings dry
The last step is to glue a felt vase and additional hearts. The picture is ready.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
