Hair bows can become a real bane, especially when you have to look for them in the morning race. The perfect solution is the hair bow holder, which you can make yourself and match the decor of the room. Our first organizer is in the form of a unicorn and although it is already 2 years old, it still bravely holds on.
Our younger daughter has already grown up and the problems have started, which hair bows are whose. To remedy them, I decided to make a second hair bow holder. This time I upcycled our rainbow wreath, which turned out to be a great idea 😁

How to make the rainbow hair bow holder?
The main element of the organizer are yarn threads, so that you can hang hair bows on them. However, the base is the rainbow wreath, or rather half a wreath. In this post you will find detailed instructions on how to make such a wreath.
The next step is to prepare the yarn threads and glue them to the rainbow wreath. The easiest way to prepare the yarn “hair” is to stretch it over two chairs. Each color must be prepared separately.
With the bundles of yarns prepared in this way, you can start sticking them to the wreath with hot glue. It’s best to apply a lot of glue so that the yarn threads stick well.
Initially, I thought it would be the end of the work, but unfortunately it turned out that not all fibers were stuck properly. Therefore, I decided to strengthen the “structure” by adding a piece of felt. Again I glued with a lot of hot glue 🙂
The last step is the most enjoyable, because these are the final trim cuts.
The hair bow holder is ready!
Now all that’s left is to hang it in the chosen place and let your daughter to arrange her hair bows 🙂

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
