I am pleased to show you amazing sequin Easter eggs made by our friend Agata 😍. It’s an extremely intricate job, but the effect completely compensates for the work put in.
Polska wersja: Cekinowe jajka wielkanocne

You will need
- Styrofoam eggs – with children it is worth starting with smaller eggs, because it is really time consuming activity.
- Sequins – the larger the faster the work goes, 9 mm seems optimal.
- Pins – when using larger sequins, make sure that the head of the pin is larger than the hole in the sequin.
- Styrofoam screws – if you have eggs without ribbons, and you want to hang them, then you will also need string screws. Sometimes you can buy them in stationery stores, but they are always available online.

How to make sequin Easter eggs?
The instructions are simple, as all you need to do is attach the sequins to the polystyrene egg with a pin. It is quite a laborious activity. Hence when working with kids it is worth having a small egg and large sequins. In that way kids will progress quickly. You can fill the egg tightly with sequins. Another approach is to attach the sequins next to each other, allowing for small white gaps.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
