So far, we’ve only used egg cartons for Easter creations, so this is our first Christmas project 🌲. Egg carton Santa with pom poms is cute in it’s simplicity 🎅.

You will need:
- Egg carton
- Scissors
- Red poster paint
- Brush
- White yarn
- Fork
- Acrylic pom poms – white and red
- Glue
How to make an egg carton Santa?
🎅 The first step is to cut out the middle part of the egg carton. Usually, there are 4 tall cones that fit perfectly on Santa or Leprechaun hats.
🌲 Then paint the egg carton cones with red paint.
🎅 The next step is to prepare a pom pom made of yarn. The fastest method that does not require additional equipment is to make a pom pom on a fork. You can find the detailed tutorial and check other methods here.
🌲 The last stage is to combine all prepared elements. First, thread the yarn that the pom pom is tied through the hole in the top of the red hat. Then tie a white pom pom to the top of the hat and finish the pendant with a knot. At the end, all that’s left to do is to add a red nose at the junction of the cap and the white pom pom beard 🎅😍.
