Egg carton Christmas bells are our second Christmas egg carton project, the first was Santa 🎅. The bells are shinier because we used glitter, crystals and sequins to decorate them. It’s hard to believe that such cute Christmas tree decorations are made of egg boxes.

You will need:

- Glue
- Glitter, sequins, beads, self-adhesive crystals and pearls
- Golden string
How to make egg carton Christmas bells?
The first step is to cut out the middle part of the egg carton. Usually, there are 4 tall cones that fit perfectly as bells.
Then paint the egg carton cones.
The next step is to decorate the painted bells. First, prepare the bottom of the bell by applying glue to the edge and dusting it with glitter. Then you can stick various decorations on the bell. We used round sequins, snowflake and star-shaped sequins as well as self-adhesive crystals and pearls. Some of the bells were only decorated with glue and glitter.
The last step is to install the hanger. The easiest way is to insert the string from the top, put a piece of paper or a bead so that it get stacked in middle of the bell and make a knot at the top or additionally decorate with a bead. 😍

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
