I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s Day, but this year I was tempted to make some Valentine’s Day craft. The Valentine’s Day card with a jar of sweets looks lovely and I’m sure everyone will be happy to get it 🫙🍬.
The jar theme has been following me for some time, but I couldn’t find a cool and free template anywhere, so I decided to create my own 🫙💪🏻😁. You can download it below.
Polska wersja: Kartka walentynkowa słoik ze słodyczami
To make a Valentine’s Day card you will need:
- Card base – I used brown card.
- Foil bag – can be string or cellophane.
- Fineliner or marker – you will definitely need black to draw the outlines of the jar. You may also need a brushpen and a red heart pen to write the wishes.
- Glue in tape – This is my recent discovery. It is very useful and it worked perfectly here.
- Scissors
- String or narrow ribbon
- Jar template
How to make a Valentine’s Day card with a jar of sweets
Download, print and cut out the jar template.
Trace the jar on a card and cut it out.
Cut out a heart inside the jar.
Use a black fineliner to draw the outline of the jar according to the second template or according to your own imagination.
Add your chosen wishes. Some Valentine’s Day ideas are: Sweet Valentine’s Day, For You, I love you, I YOU, Be my Valentine.
Pack the sweets in a bag and glue the bag to the back of the card.
Tie a ribbon and the card is ready 🙂

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
