The monkey was created with little Ryś in mind, who, right after the horses, is also a loyal fan of these animals. There are tons of monkey patterns on the Internet, both free and paid. I decided to crochet one based on the crochet pattern from Klubok.
This monkey is very easy and fast to crochet. I very like a blue color, that’s why I decided to make blue hoodie. I had to modify a crochet pattern to get a bigger mascot. Enjoy the blog post and lots of monkey’s photos!
What do you need to crochet monkey?
- Crochet pattern from Klubok, that you can buy via Etsy
- Yarn – I used YarnArt Jeans with colors: 70 (brown), 16 (blue), 05 (cream)
- Hook – I used size 3mm
- Safety eyes
- Yarn needle
- Fiberfill
- Scissors
Crochet monkey – final effect
The most difficult part for me was muzzle sewing. It required precision and focus.
The monkey from mentioned crochet pattern wears a hoodie. You can choose the color of it that you like the most. It adds a lot of charm to this mascot. My Victoria said that she wants such a monkey as well, but with yellow hoodie 🙂 The hood can be put on the monkey’s head and tied with strings so that its ears do not get cold when the wind is blowing outside.
Below in the pictures there are separated elements of which the mascot is composed.
The monkey has already been handed over. The little owner was very happy having new friend. I think that such a mascot is a perfect gift idea for a boy. Let me know your thoughts and if you made a monkey from this pattern, too.

I have been passionate about DIY since my childhood, and my innate patience and accuracy make the whole process of creation a lot easier for me and that gives me a lot of satisfaction and pleasure. During my first pregnancy I learnt how to sew, what resulted with few tutorials about sewing clothes for kids on the blog. In the beginning of my second maternity leave, I have learned how to crochet amigurumi from yt. I found out, that I really love it, that’s why so many blog posts describe my crochet creatures.
