The holiday season is just around the corner, so it’s time for some small creative projects you can make with kids or enjoy solo when you need a moment of relaxation. Today, I’ll show you how to quickly and easily create charming pipe cleaners and wooden beads Christmas tree ornaments.
What You’ll Need:
- Colorful craft pipe cleaners
- Wooden beads in various sizes

How to make pipe cleaners and wooden beads Christmas tree ornaments
- Prepare the pipe cleaner and beads
Choose a pipe cleaner color and a few wooden beads in different sizes. - String the beads onto the pipe cleaner
Start by threading the beads onto the pipe cleaner. Feel free to mix different sizes to create an interesting pattern. The pipe cleaner is flexible, so shape it however you like. - Finish with a loop
After threading all the beads, twist the ends of the pipe cleaner into a loop. This will be the hanger for your ornament. - Adjust the shape
Finally, gently shape the ornament so the beads sit nicely and the loop is stable.

Why make these ornaments?
- They are super quick to make — perfect for last-minute decorating!
- You can customize them by choosing colors and bead sizes.
- Great fun for kids and adults alike.
- They look beautiful on the tree, adding a splash of color and natural wood accents.
- Perfect as small, handmade gifts.
If you love simple yet eye-catching holiday decorations, these pipe cleaner and wooden bead ornaments are a perfect choice. I recommend making a whole set to hang on your tree or use as charming gift decorations!
Happy crafting and have a joyful, creative holiday season!

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
