All you need are a few black balloons and a bit of dexterity to create a decoration that fits perfectly into the Halloween vibe.
Our spider turned out so realistic that… even the dog preferred to keep a safe distance! 🐾😄
Materials
To make your balloon spider, you’ll need:
🎈 4 long black balloons – for the legs
🎈 2 round black balloons – for the head and the body
🎨 Acrylic markers – white and red (for the eyes)
🪣 Balloon pump – makes things much easier!
Step-by-step instructions
1. Inflate the leg balloons
Inflate the four long balloons, gather them together, and twist them in the middle to create eight spider legs.
You can slightly bend the ends so they look more natural.
2. Make the head and body
Inflate two round balloons — one larger (the body) and one smaller (the head).
Twist them together to form a pair.
3. Connect the parts
Attach the head and body to the legs by twisting the balloons around each other.
4. Add the eyes 👁️
Use acrylic markers to draw the eyes — start with white circles, then add red pupils.
The effect? Scarily awesome! 😈
5. All done!
Your balloon spider is ready to scare!
Hang it from the ceiling, place it by the door, or let it watch over your Halloween snacks.
