Dirt and worms dessert is a fun snack for a great summer party. Kids will be delighted with jelly worms, and adults will surely smile as well 😉
The dirt and worms dessert takes the same time to make as the traditional mole cake. We used the mole cake dry mix 🙂
Polska wersja: Deser „ziemia z robakami” na bazie kopca kreta
Ingredients
- Mole cake dry mix and additional ingredients needed to prepare the cake: margarine, 2 eggs, milk, bananas, heavy cream.
- Optional cocoa to make the cream mass brown
- Haribo wummis
- Jars, cups or bowls

How to make dirt and worms dessert
Start by preparing the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the package. You can start further work when the cake has cooled down.
Then prepare the cream, again following the recipe on the box. You can add a little cocoa to the cream to make the dessert more “dirty”. Slice the bananas. Bananas can be replaced with other fruits such as strawberries, raspberries or blueberries.

Start “assembling” the dessert 🙂
- The first layer is a piece of cake
- Then the banana pieces
- Next is the cream
- Repeat layers 1, 2 and 3
- Finally, crumble the chocolate cake to look like a small mound of earth
- Garnish with jelly worms 😉
- Put in the fridge for about 2 hours

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
