I have loved Harry Potter for years, but this is my first attempt at doing something magical. The occasion was perfect, as the Harry Potter birthday card was a complement to the Harry Potter Lego set.

How to make Harry Potter birthday card?
The basis of the card with Harry is a thick ecru card that imitates the color of the face.
The next step is to prepare the elements of Harry Potter’s face, that is hair, glasses, eyes, lightning and a scarf.
I do not have ready-made templates, I just cut them out 😁. It is important to make one deeper cut on the hair to emphasize the lightning on the forehead.
To make glasses, I used 2 small glasses to draw circles. Additionally, I cut out 2 tiny circles for the eyes.
Next the scarf is a yellow stripe on which I have pasted a red glitter foil.
The last detail is to draw a smile and white reflections on the eyes.
The most difficult thing is probably the Harry Potter-style inscription, but after a few attempts and sketching the inscription with a pencil, I managed to do it somehow 🤩.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
