I am arranging a room for my little troublemakers 😉. Within few days cute wallpaper with forest animals should be delivered. Recently, a beautiful beech bed-house came to us. Looking through Instagram, I noticed that garlands are often hung on them. I decided to do one on my own 😉. The theme of colorful hot air balloons was chosen. I need at least 6 of them for the satisfactory final result. One hot air balloon is ready and in today’s post I would like to show you how to crochet it 😁. The crochet pattern is available for free and created by me for my own needs.
The hot air balloon’s height is about 9 cm. Together with hanging basket it is 14 cm. You can mix colors, but it is worth to be consistent with room colors.
What you’ll need to crochet hot air balloon?
- Yarn, I used Gazzal Baby Cotton (60% cotton, 40% poliacrylic) in colors consistent with room colors
- 3 mm hook
- Scissors
- Fiberfill
- Yarn needle

I have been passionate about DIY since my childhood, and my innate patience and accuracy make the whole process of creation a lot easier for me and that gives me a lot of satisfaction and pleasure. During my first pregnancy I learnt how to sew, what resulted with few tutorials about sewing clothes for kids on the blog. In the beginning of my second maternity leave, I have learned how to crochet amigurumi from yt. I found out, that I really love it, that’s why so many blog posts describe my crochet creatures.
