How to make a great gift for a traveler out of a small plastic globe? We have a recipe for a personalized globe with the inscription Bon Voyage. Our globe is a gift for a colleague changing jobs. A bit of painting, a calligraphy and signatures from the entire team.

You will need
- A globe – preferably old and unused, but of course it can also be new. I used a small, new globe for a few zlotys.
- Gold spray paint
- White paint – I used wall paint, but acrylic paint will definitely work too
- Pencil
- Gold marker or acrylic marker – I used a gold Posca marker
- Black marker or acrylic marker
How to make a personalized globe
🌍 The first step is to paint the ring holding the globe with gold paint
🌍 The next step is to paint the globe white. I used wall paint and did 2 coats to cover the map well.
🌍 Once the paint was dry, it was time for the inscription. I decided on Bon Voyage. First, I made a pencil sketch, then I used the fake calligraphy method to draw with a gold Posca acrylic marker.
🌍 Finally, just signatures from the whole team and it’s done!
