I really like making birthday cards, I also love pom poms. This combination resulted in a fancy birthday card with pom poms forming a bunch of balloons. I love it and I encourage you to do it yourself 🤩.

How to make a birthday card?
Preparing the base of the card
The beginning is the preparation of the base. Several layers look very nice, that’s why my card has a aquamarine base, then a card with green zigzags and a white card on top.
Decorating the card
The next step is to arrange and stick the pom poms. It’s best to dry test the arrangement, colors and sizes of the pom poms first.
Then you can move on to sticking the pom poms.
When the glue is dry, you can draw black lines imitating balloon strings. For this you will need a black pen and ruler. The lines should come from the pom poms and intersect at one point at the bottom of the page. In addition, between the pom poms, where there are small gaps, you can also draw lines. These are short stretches between the pom poms, so you can do it right away 😁.
Finally, at the intersection point, you can stick a mouline bow or draw it with a fineliner.
The inscription Happy Birthday
Until now, I have either printed wishes or wrote in capital letters. For the first time I tried to write myself using brushpen and lettering technique. It is not easy and requires practice and I am training too little 😉.
The birthday card with pom poms is ready!

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
