Candles and lanterns are an indispensable element of Christmas, so we couldn’t miss them. I present a very simple way to conjure lanterns from a jar. Christmas lanterns from a jar can be decorated as you like. I decided on natural Christmas tree branches, cones, red fruits and a bow.
Polska wersja: Jak zrobić świąteczny lampion ze słoika

You will needed
- Jars
- Artificial snow
- Universal glue
- Brush
- Jute twine
- Scissors
- Decorations – these can be natural Christmas tree twigs, cones, red fruits, bells, small baubles, stars or ribbons.

How to make a Christmas lantern from a jar
The first step is to paint the whole jar with glue, only the neck should remain unglued.
Then cover the jar thoroughly with artificial snow. To get rid of excess snow, you can gently tap the bottom and scrape off.
Now wrap the jute twine around the neck of the jar several times and tie it. Before you make a bow, put some decorations, e.g. a Christmas tree branch. Secure it with a bow. I tied the pine cone with an additional string.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
