We received a La Manuli Sea Animals iron beads set for testing. The set has templates for 5 sea animals 🦀🐙🐳🐬 and accessories for creating brooches. My daughters and I went a step further and made a jar aquarium🫙🌊🪸. The effect is incredibly cool 😻.

You will need
- La Manuli Sea Animals set
- Iron
- 1l Jar
- Universal glue or hot glue
- Water
- Blue dye – I used soap dye, but you can also use food dye
- Glitter – you can skip it, but an aquarium with glitter looks really great😻
- Glycerin – optional, various online tutorials say that glitter falls off slower with glycerin. I personally did not observe a miraculous effect after adding a few drops of glycerin.
- Jute rope – mounted on the jar cap, additionally gives a nautical character.

How to make jar aquarium with bead animals
🦀 The first step is to arrange the beaded animals and iron them through baking paper.
🪸 It is also worth arranging seaweed, which will diversify the aquarium and can create a frame for sticking animals.

🐙 The next step is to glue the sea creatures on the inside of the jar lid. We chose crab, octopus and seahorse. It is best to use hot glue.

🌊 Now it’s time to prepare the aquarium.
- Pour water into the jar, almost to the very end.
- Add a drop of blue food coloring.
- Add some glitter and stir the mixture.
- Pour in a few drops of glocerin and mix again. Various online tutorials say that glitter falls off more slowly with glycerin. I personally did not observe a miraculous effect after adding a few drops of glycerin.
- Close the jar with a cap with glued beaded animals.
- Finally, you can tie a jute rope around the jar lid, which will add even more marine character to your aquarium.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
