After having fun painting stones and pumpkins, it was time for conkers 🌰🌰🌰. Painting conkers is a brilliant autumn activity for children and adults. It’s easy to turn ordinary conkers into amazing creations. We painted at workshops at school, without testing at home. It turned out great, and the most numerous were hedgehogs 🦔🦔🦔 and owls 🦉🦉🦉.
Polska wersja: Malowanie kasztanów

You will need
- Conckers
- Acrylic markers – the same as for painting rocks

Painting conkers
Similarly to the pebbles and pumpkins, we used acrylic markers. They have many advantages and work well even for less artistically talented people. They are also perfect for children. We use them with our daughters and have no plans to change them yet.
I was looking for inspiration for painting conkers on Pinterest, which is where I found a hedgehog and an owl, as well as many other patterns.

Workshops at school
Painting conkers is great fun for children, so I highly recommend it as an activity for school workshops 🙂

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
