While waiting for the fifth season of the Spanish series “Money heist”, I made a portrait of Professor using Hama beads. This is my first attempt at making a beaded human image and I must admit it was not easy. I hope the Professor reminds himself 😉

Supplies
- Perler beads in the following colors: white, black, dark brown, light brown, two shades of cream and caramel
- 2 square boards that can be combined
- Baking paper and an iron
- Frame
- Hama bead template of Professor
Making of Professor out of perler beads
With a ready template, the task is a bit easier, although it still requires concentration and a lot of patience. There are several methods for arranging beads, they can be arranged in colors or rows. When I arrange from a template, I prefer to do it in rows, i.e. I start from the top row and arrange the beads in order.
This time I didn’t have a template and I tried to arranged beads based on the Professor graphics found on Google.
Finally, iron the beads through baking paper and it’s ready!

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed.
