For a movie theme wedding, apart from popcorn place holders, I have also prepared floral arrangements. Carnation popcorn bouquet is nothing more than a glass placed in a popcorn box, filled with carnations. It does fit perfectly with the film theme, doesn’t it? 🍿 🍿 🍿
Polska wersja: Popcornowy bukiet z goździków na przyjęcie z motywem filmowym

You will need
- White flowers – I opted for carnations, but white hydrangeas could also look great. The size of the bouquet depends on the size of the popcorn box. I used about 10 flowers for a relatively small box.
- Popcorn boxes – it took me the longest time to find the right boxes. The wedding room was decorated in black and gold and after several hours of searching, it was possible to find such boxes in the online store. Unfortunately they are no longer available :/
- Vases, glasses or jars – something you can pour water into, put flowers in and hide in a popcorn box.
- Scissors – to cut the stems to the right height

How to make a carnation popcorn bouquet?
Once you have gathered all the necessary elements, the matter is very simple. You just need to measure the flower to the right length. The easiest way to do this is to shorten a bit until you get the right height. You can measure out the next flowers from the first one.
You put the flowers in until the top of the box is full, creating the impression of a pile of popcorn. The size of the bouquet depends on the size of the box. I used about 10 carnations for a relatively small box.
Decoration a movie theme party
The last step is to arrange the carnation popcorn bouquets in the party room.

Nothing gives more satisfaction than doing something yourself. I haven’t even thought about DIY as my hobby, I’ve just done different “projects” when it was needed. Sometimes it’s a disguise for the Masquerade Party in kindergarten. Another time, cutting out the pumpkin and baking the witch’s fingers for Haloween. Or simply organizing holiday souvenirs. Now I decided to share my realizations with you. Let’s go it together!
