The neon slouchy beanie became popular in Poland a year ago. All thanks to the TV show “Letters to M. 3” and the actress Magdalena Różdżka, who had this beanie on her head in one episode. The hat is very easy to make, although I have ripped it three times 😁😂 In my blog post you will find free crochet pattern that I created based on my own mistakes.
What really bothers me in this project is the fact that I did not find the colorful yarn among merino or alpaca wool. Bravo Color yarn is 100% acrylic. Unfortunately, such products are quite stiff. The problem can be solved by mixing it with single-colored merino wool, e.g. Drops Merino Extra Fine, Drops Big Merino, etc. However, you have to be aware of the fact that the color effect will change significantly. The actress appeared in a beanie made of Bravo Color and black yarn.
Due to the fact that I needed a juicy neon beanie, I used only Bravo Color.

I started my adventure with crochet from amigurumi mascots. You can find them under the links: bear, cat, rabbit.
I have been passionate about DIY since my childhood, and my innate patience and accuracy make the whole process of creation a lot easier for me and that gives me a lot of satisfaction and pleasure. During my first pregnancy I learnt how to sew, what resulted with few tutorials about sewing clothes for kids on the blog. In the beginning of my second maternity leave, I have learned how to crochet amigurumi from yt. I found out, that I really love it, that’s why so many blog posts describe my crochet creatures.
