The bag and the mug with kids drawings and signatures is a nice idea for the personalized teacher gift. Especially in the early stages of education, when children are just learning to write, you can see how much work they put in and how they develop. Project preparation – collecting kids’ drawings and signatures
The first phase of the project is to collect drawings or signatures from all children, or rather their parents. It’s a simple matter, but it always takes some time, so start collecting signatures earlier.
The first option is that each parent sends a picture of their child’s drawing or signature. Then it requires preparing the graphics for printing (more details below).
If you have concerns about the preparation of graphics later, you can collect children’s signatures on a single sheet of paper in an appropriately cut format (check the mugs or bags offer for the format). The collection itself is much more troublesome, but the difficult and time-consuming step with preparing the graphics is eliminated. Then it is enough to scan the sheet with the signatures and send it to the company performing the printing.
Graphics preparation
This is the most difficult step, requiring the skill to use a graphics program. We were lucky because one of the moms in the group prepared great graphics for us.
If you are not so lucky, you can try yourself in free tools such as GIMP. There are many tutorials on youtube on how to cut a background, save a file and then apply multiple layers.
The last option is to order the design from a printing company. Then you have to ask for a quote directly at the company.
Choosing the printing company
When it comes to mugs, you should order one that is dishwasher safe. I was looking for offers on the Polish Internet sites such as Allegro – search link. You should look for the relevant company in your country. Most of the companies that print mugs also offer bags.

To make the mugs look more attractive, together with the girls we poured candies inside and wrapped it in foil decorated with a bow 🙂
